Time is running out as i develop this new theme in ajax format. This theme was originally developed by Lovedeep Wadhwa owner of Freakitude.com
I have developed Ajax version of one of his themes named “Blue Stripes”.Reasons to do this is i love this Web 2.0 layout of design very much impressive work and thought this theme must be added with some more Web 2.0 functionalities. So i worked upon it and made it Ajax compatible.

It looks like it just adds a bunch of stuff to the URL at the top of the page but doesn’t really change the page location, etc. I would think that this would make it tough to tell what pages/posts people are reading, and so on.
Any info you can give on this would be appreciated!

Posted: Oct 29th, 2007 at 10:06 pm10I’m a little confused. It appears that the whole page refreshes when a link is clicked. If the theme is “ajaxified”, shouldn’t just the main content div update with the new text and/or images? I’m asking because if you scroll down a few lines so that the about/contact menu is at the top of the page (that is, the “wordpress - another wordpress blog” header is no longer visible) and then click on, say “About”, the whole page appears to refresh because your header is once again at the top. Just curious, is that effect intentional?

To understand what I’m referring to, check out this site, http://www.web2coder.com/demo/. It is not Wordpress, but your theme is very close to achieving the same end result. If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you will see “Latest News” and “Popular”. If you click on any of those links, you will notice that the whole webpage is not reloaded, only the main content div is refreshed using ajax with content from the clicked link.
I hope this clears up my point, if not, I will post some pics to illustrate better.
